Children's Counseling

Children are certainly more important to us than our jobs or any other relationship except our relationships with God and our spouse. Children’s behaviors sometime threaten the peace of the entire family unit or disrupt the classroom activity at school. Sometimes children have difficulty academically, socially, or emotionally. What is a parent to do?

Covenant Counseling provides services to children within the family context.  Parents or legal guardians may make appointments for the child in need. During the first session, the parent or guardian will be asked to accompany the child to session. In addition to family, we offer play and art therapy to meet the individual need.

Often, therapists consult with pediatricians and educators depending on the needs of the child(ren). Parents, guardians, or other family members may be asked to participate in the child’s treatment plan as much as necessary.
