Covenant Counseling functions as a supportive resource for pastors of churches in many ways. First, we serve as a consultant to pastors concerning mental health issues or emotional concerns of parishioners. When a pastor refers a parishioner to our services, we encourage the client to sign a release form so that we may be able to involve the pastor or church in the treatment plan.
Second, Covenant Counseling provides seminars and workshops to all Bible believing churches – see Education. These educational seminars utilize Scriptural teaching together with principles of solid therapeutic models encouraging all participants to apply these principles in their everyday lives as they grow and mature in Christ.
The goal of education is to prevent emotional disturbances, strengthen families and churches, and overall encourage the maximum development of mental and spiritual health of all participants.
